We take great pride in our work and invest significant time and resources from the moment we begin a project. This policy outlines our approach to refunds and cancellations.
The Nature of Our Services
Our services involve custom design, development, and creative work that is tailored specifically to each client's unique requirements. Unlike physical products that can be returned in their original condition, our digital services involve:
- Custom strategy and planning sessions
- Bespoke design work created exclusively for your brand
- Development and coding tailored to your specifications
- Creative resources allocated specifically to your project
Our Refund Policy
Due to the custom nature of our services and the immediate allocation of resources upon project commencement, all payments are final and non-refundable once work has begun.
This policy applies to:
- All project-based packages (Starter, Professional, Enterprise)
- Monthly care and maintenance plans
- À la carte services and add-ons
- Custom quotes and enterprise agreements
Before Your Project Begins
We understand that circumstances change. If you need to cancel before we begin any work:
Cancellation Window
If you cancel your project within 48 hours of payment and before any work has commenced (including discovery calls, research, or planning), we will provide a full refund minus a 5% processing fee.
Once Work Has Begun
After the initial discovery phase or any design/development work has started, refunds are not available. However, we are committed to your satisfaction:
- Revisions: All packages include revision rounds to ensure the final product meets your expectations.
- Open Communication: We maintain transparent communication throughout the project to address concerns early.
- Problem Resolution: If you're unsatisfied with any aspect, we will work diligently to resolve the issue within the project scope.
Monthly Care Plans
For our monthly maintenance and care plans:
- Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time before your next billing cycle.
- No refunds are provided for partial months or unused services within a paid period.
- Your service will continue until the end of your current billing period after cancellation.
Project Pauses & Delays
If you need to pause your project, please contact us as soon as possible. We can hold your project for up to 30 days at no additional charge. Projects paused beyond 30 days may be subject to re-scoping and additional fees based on resource availability. Extended pauses or abandonment of projects do not qualify for refunds.

Exceptions
In rare circumstances, we may consider exceptions on a case-by-case basis. These may include:
- Documented cases where Teknovated has materially failed to deliver agreed-upon services
- Significant delays caused solely by Teknovated (not including client-side delays)
- Force majeure circumstances affecting either party
All exception requests must be submitted in writing within 14 days of the issue arising.
